I have wide-ranging teaching experience and have taught many people in the last 16 years.
I set up my private teaching practice in 2001, in Gillingham, Kent.
I began teaching students on an individual basis. Ages ranged from 3-85 years. My teaching practice has gone from strength to strength over the years. I feel that I have a very good reputation and am a very experienced teacher. The amount of students which I have gained over the past few years reflect this. I have regularly entered students for ABRSM exams and all have received good passes.
I began teaching piano individually and in small groups at Thamesview Infants School, Rainham in May 2008. I also began teaching violin individually and in small groups at Fairview Primary School, Wigmore at the same time. I then took up the post of part time Music Teacher at Blue Skies School, Rochester, which is a private secondary school for children with Aspergers Syndrome, in September 2009. Here I taught classroom music. My teaching within schools grew from here. Below are listed the schools where I am currently teaching.
Both Violin and Piano lessons take place on a weekly basis and are 30 minutes or one hour in length. Although children do tend to benefit more from a 30 minute lesson and adults from an hour lesson.
Lessons are based around the individual and are taught in a very fun and interactive way, ensuring maximum engagement and enjoyment.
30 minute Violin/Piano lesson – £15.50
1 hour Violin/Piano lesson – £31.00
These prices are the same for Music Theory lessons, which are also offered.
Lessons are available during term time and school holidays
Lessons must be paid for 1 month in advance, and contracts must be signed agreeing to my teaching terms and conditions. Contracts can be downloaded by clicking on one of the links below.
